Rosenthal Music Management has emerged the past years as one of the leading artists’ agencies in Saxony and the whole of eastern Germany. The ensembles represented by our agency, such as Ragna Schirmer, vocal ensemble amarcord, David Orlowsky and his Trio and the Alliage Quintet are well-known and highly regarded throughout the world. We also enjoy ongoing relationships with many other active artists from the region.
As well as our eminent local artists from the dynamic city of Leipzig, we are proud to represent musicians from all over Europe with outstanding artistic reputations, such as the Bandoneon soloist Per Arne Glorvigen (Norway/France), Marco Beasley & Accordone (Italy), Carion (Denmark) and the Utrecht String Quartet.
In addition to its role as artists’ agency, Rosenthal Music Management has also become well-known for its capable and reliable organisation of regional festivals such as the Leipzig Chamber Music Festival and, since 2006, the Classical Festival Sommertöne.
| Tobias Rosenthal, a former member of the St. Thomas Boys Choir, was trained in business and law, and was formerly employed as a legal adviser to the Leipzig Gewandhaus. In 1999 he founded his own artists’ agency to represent the vocal ensemble amarcord, which soon became known as the German answer to the King’s Singers. This exceptionally successful collaboration and the rapid international rise of amarcord led to the further growth of the agency, which today is increasingly in demand and steadily expanding. |
| Katharina Lenke joined the agency in April 2006. After her studies of Musicology and dramatics she was working in different positions in culture- and artist management such as the Leipzig Gewandhaus, the Munich Chamber Orchestra and the Potsdam-Sanssouci Music Festival. |
 | Kirsten Hanson joined the agency in January 2011. During her studies in Leipzig and Rome she gained experience in event organisation and artist's management at various cultural institutions. Formative institutions for her professional career were kammerorchesterbasel and Schola Cantorum Basiliensis - University of Early Music. Besides her employment at Rosenthal Musikmanagement she is working in the artistic office of St. Thomas Boys Choir Leipzig.
